The interior was in pretty good shape, just dull and dry. I cleaned the interior panels and put Minwax Polycrylic for Interiors on much of the teak. In retrospect, the Polycrylic feels a little gummy, and I wouldn't use it again. The fast cure polyurethanes are a better choice, with their hard clean feel. I painted the backsplash areas beige with left over deck paint.  Some simple teak battens are glued to the overhead with 4200, just for aesthetics.

Interior Details

I found the lamp on eBay for $10. The nav table was in the boat - I just refinished it and added the pencil holder and brass pull rings.

Free Space!

As a byproduct of the new holding tank, I found every boat owner's dream - more storage space! Just aft of the new tank lies 5 cubic feet of storage space. A  new teak louvered door provides access to this new found treasure.
